Where do I start? Lori Foster rocketed to the top of my favorite authors list the moment I started reading When You Dare from her Edge of Honor series. She has stayed there because every book I’ve read after, has made me love her writing more and more. No Limits has just added to the greatness once again. When I first heard that Lori had come out with another MMA series, I about squealed my husband’s hearing away. The great thing about No Limits is, not only do you fall in love with the main character of the book, but you get the chance to fall in love with the secondary characters as well. I loved being able to read about characters from previous books. Basically, there is no losing when you read one of Lori Foster’s books. The way she writes her characters and the humor and comradery is beyond amazing to me. I actually feel like I am right there with them. I already recommend Lori Foster to all my friends and random people at the library. Now I must remember to add a note to keep their eyes out for the Ultimate series. They won’t regret it and neither will you. Happy Reading!!
This book was fantastic. One of Ms. Foster' s best to date and that is saying a lot because I don't think she's written a bad book. I loved the characters. Connor and Yvette were perfect for one another. He was a tough MMA fighter who had inherited some property with Yvette. This brings her back to town and in close proximity to him. From that point on, the gloves are off, so to speak, and he sets out to win her over. He is so loving, so romantic and so sexy you can't help but fall for him. And though she is struggling with some issues, he is so patient with her and willing to work through it with her. Of course there are some wonderful secondary characters, sexy fighters and an element of danger included that will keep you turning the pages. Definitely recommend.
3.5 StarsI wasn't so sure of this book during the first half, I had a hard time relating to Yvette and Cannon, but as the book progressed I really got into the story.Yvette and Cannon have a past, and haven't seen each other for three years, when they are thrown together again, Cannon is happy to finally have a chance with Yvette, and Yvette is trying to get Cannon not to see her as the girl who left three years ago and a girl who needs protecting.I was frustrated with Yvette many times in this book, any one could see how much Cannon cared about her, but she refused to see it and seemed to push him away at every turn at first. I adored Cannon and how much he wanted to prove to Yvette he was the guy for her and how much he cared for her. He never pushed her, and only seemed to care about her. I understood his frustration with her many times in this book, especially when she refused to trust him, or let him in.When Yvette finally let Cannon in, I felt this story got so much better. They were dealing with the Heath situation together, and Yvette was trusting Cannon, and they were able to work through issues and start to build a future together. I loved how cave man Cannon would get regarding Yvette and what he would do to protect her. He loved her so much and his character was definitely swoonworthy!Not only is Cannon amazing, but so are all of his friends. Each of them saw how much Yvette meant to him, and embraced her into their inner circle and were there for her no matter what. Armie became like a big brother to Yvette and I loved him. He may seem like a big bad fighter, but you can tell under everything he has a heart of gold and he cares for his "family". I can't wait to read his story soon!This book was frustrating at times, with Yvette and Cannon circling one another for a large part of this book and not moving forward or backwards, but at times I adored this book and the characters. The last few chapters of this book were absolutely the best, and I wish we would have gotten more of the drama that we got in those chapters throughout the whole book. I really liked how Yvette and Cannon's story ended and hope to see more of them in future installments of this series!

And this book did not disappoint my growing love I had for Cannon. No Limits starts when Yvette's grandfather passes away and leaves his house and business to both Yvette and Cannon (hoping that Cannon can convince Yvette to move back home). Yvette has grown up in the years she has been away and wants to show Cannon that she isn't the same needy girl she was before. However, the past has a way of coming back around and Yvette still feels insecure with her relationship with Cannon. She doesn't always trust in his feelings for her since he turned her down years ago. But Cannon knows what he wants and he wants Yvette and is willing to prove himself and wait until she is ready for him. This book has no cliffhanger and secondary characters will get books (YAY for Armie!!)
