I have high blood pressure. Dash diet is a good diet for people like me. It is good that with the help of nutrition I can affect my state of health. This book is beautiful. Have great ideas! I can also say that the instructions are simple and the photos look amazing.
Useful dash diet, with a predominance of vegetables, fruits, grains and dietary meats. The balanced composition of the dishes fits my healthy lifestyle. Appetizing illustrations. Simple and at the same time delicious recipes. With this diet you can improve the work of the cardiovascular system. A seven-day meal plan helps you to feel the positive results of such a diet.
The recipes seem very creative but the fat content is way too high for the DASH diet. Most of the salads make 2 servings and have 2 tablespoons of olive oil. That's 3 teaspoons of olive oil per serving, basically your entire fat allotment for the day. A lot of the main dish recipes are similar. There's also quite a few beef recipes, and anyone familiar with the DASH diet knows beef consumption is discouraged. Likewise, many recipes call for "sour cream" or "milk," without specifying low fat or no fat versions. I don't think these recipes were developed by someone with a very strong familiarity with the DASH diet, thus they lose credibility with me. But the book was free so I guess I can't really expect much.
