I originally got this book for my teenaged sister, but ended up reading it all the way through, not expecting it to resonate with me so much! I'm glad I read it. It has so much powerful advice from so many people I admire. I recommend this book to any one, any woman looking to be inspired again.
I bought this book hit my daughter and I to read together, and We absolutely love it. We would sit and talk about the chapters, and have great conversations about how we can or cannot related to the topics. Great for young ladies starting middle school

Each year at our family reunion, either of these books are presented to a high school graduate.
I love his writing style and the fact that the book is really written as letters to a young girl who is trying to find herself and become comfortable in her own skin. He also has inspirational leaders responding to letters. And the responses are not the cliche "if you believe you can achieve". They really get into it and share some of their own life experiences to show how they overcame obstacles or feelings of inadequacy. Great Book! I haven't finished it yet and that's why I've given it 4 stars instead of 5.
Harper does an amazing job conveying his message to young women. amazing man phenomenal actor and not to mention handsome!
